Amicus submit 2007 pay claim

Amicus submitted its 2007 Pay Claim, based on its members feedback, to management at a meeting on 15th January.

Key elements of the claim are as follows:

• 4.25% pay pot

• Harmonisation of AXA Shared Service bonus schemes and uplift for AXA Insurance Grade 6 staff

• Remuneration for all staff (regardless of grade) paid over their pay scale with a pensionable increase every third year

• Increase in London pay scale to 20% and review of scales in Bolton, Call Centres, Coventry and Morecambe

• Introduction of National Finance Pay Scales throughout AXA UK group

• Harmonise AXA Life overtime with AXA Insurance and remove Grade 6 minimum 20 hour restriction

• Amicus also requested AXA review a list of other issues which could financially benefit members at little if any cost to the company including staff insurance discounts, utilising AXA's purchasing power, universal private medical insurance, extension of flexitime and review sports and social position from a group perspective.
