AXA staff in Northern Rock at risk

AXA announced today that eight staff working in Northern Rock were at risk of redundancy following the decision to transfer their claims work to the AXA office in Morecambe.

Unite were fully consulted by the company on the plans and are negotiating with both AXA and Northern Rock to see if the staff affected can be offered jobs within the bank, despite its current recruitment freeze/
