AXA Centre nursery compensation deal struck
Amicus are pleased to advise that after protracted negotiations, they have agreed to a compensation deal with AXA following the removal of the nursery subsidy.
Staff affected by the change will receive a letter of apology from the company for the manner in which they were advised of the change and back payment of the subsidy for January 2006.
Whilst the union is still disappointed in the loss of the subsidy, the reality of the situation in Life with the Project Libra cost cutting programme, is that the benefit was untenable in the current climate and protection of the the nursery facility itself was of more importance.
