Recommended Pay Settlement 2006 (Joint Amicus-AXA statement)
We are pleased to announce that AXA UK and Amicus have agreed the 2006 Pay review for employees in grades represented by Amicus in AXA Life, AXA Insurance, AXA UK and AXA Shared Services. Amicus have agreed to recommend this pay review to their members for acceptance in the pay ballot.
Full briefing notes will be issued during the course of this week. However, the key aspects of the review are as follows:

A minimum salary across the Group of £10,556pa

A minimum salary increase for those low in pay scale of £400 pa (Full Time Equivalent)

A lump sum payment for amounts paid in excess of scale maximum for those in levels 6 - 9 (A - D), based on the relevant salary maximum not actual salary

The bonus scheme for those in AXAI (and in Shared Services from an AXA Insurance background) will be amended to bring it more into line with other schemes in the AXA UK Group. In particular this will improve the on target % for those in grades 6-9 where business targets are met

An additional adjustment will be made to the pay matrix for those in AXA Life whose pay review date has been rescheduled to April.
Amicus should complete their ballot by mid March.
In the meantime AXA will make preparations for the pay review, assuming a favourable outcome in ballot.
