Union did not agree nursery subsidy axe

There was considerable concern among some members when they received a letter from Acorns (who run the AXA Centre Nursery) advising that in addition to an increase in costs, AXA had decided to remove the nursery subsidy "in agreement with Amicus".

In fact Amicus were not consulted over the content of this letter and it has only recently been made available to us by the Company. We consider that it was poorly worded and did not reflect the concerns raised by Amicus over this move.

We would like to assure our members in the AXA Centre that we are still talking to them about their wish to remove it.
