2006 pay talks start in London

The company has started pay talks with Amicus for grade 6 to 9 (A to D) staff in AXA Group Services, AXA Insurance, AXA Life, AXA Shared Services and AXA UK.

Unlike previous years, management have advised that they will only be undertaking negotiations at Group level for the pay pot and not at individual operating company level. The union welcomed this move as it had been clear in previous years that the decisions on pay where being made by the at Group level and not by individual operating companies.

At the meeting the company outlined its current financial position and areas it would like to cover in the pay talks.

Further meetings were scheduled for 5th January, 27th January, 2nd February, 10th February and15th February.
