AXA agree to promote nursing mother policy

AXA have agreed to issue a reminder to local managers regarding the company policy on nursing mothers after the union highlighted the unacceptable practice of some mothers using toilets to express milk during National Breastfeeding Awareness Week.

The return to work guide will be changed to specifically cover the topic, reminding both the returning staff member and the manager that AXA will provide suitable private facilities for nursing mothers to express milk if needed.
